Sveimhugi marks the first full-length release from Orang Volante (Atli Már Þorvaldsson) on Möller Records. Spanning nine tracks, the album drifts through a tapestry of ambient and experimental soundscapes, weaving in elements of ambient dub and deep ambient house.
Recorded largely live in the studio over the course of a year and a half, Sveimhugi captures fleeting, soulful moments—each track unfolding like an intimate sonic meditation. The result is a deeply atmospheric journey, where texture and groove intertwine to create a world both immersive and timeless. Listen to Sveimhugi on Spotify, Apple Music and elsewhere.
Orang Volante has been at the heart of Iceland’s electronic music scene for well over two decades. A producer and DJ from Reykjavík, he is celebrated for his soulful house sound, sharp production skills, and a fearless approach to live performance—where spontaneity and unpredictability turn every set into a unique experience.
Armed with external synths and hardware, Atli has consistently pushed boundaries, blending groove-driven house with an experimental edge. Throughout his career, he has explored multiple creative identities, releasing music under aliases such as .α Dial and Orang Asli, while steadily building a reputation for artistry that bridges underground innovation with dancefloor appeal.
As Orang Volante, Atli continues to carve out his own sonic path—shaping richly textured electronic music that reflects both his Icelandic roots and his global perspective.
